Esther B Sindel, 92, passed away January 19, 2020 at her home in Johnstown, OH.

Preceded in death by her parents, Esther Bowen and Fred Bowen, siblings David Bowen and Leigh Wheeler, former husband Dr Walter Sindel, and son Larry Sindel.

Survived by sons Douglas Sindel and Jeffrey Sindel, grandson Andy Langan, and granddaughter Julia Staudenmaier.

She was born February 24, 1927 in Columbus, and lived in or near Gahanna for many years, always showing love and support for her sons' various activities, in and out of school. Graduate of Lincoln High School, Gahanna, and long-time member of Peace Lutheran Church. Esther was a busy wife and mother during those years, and enjoyed the love and company of many, many friends, often sharing with them her talents at the piano and organ. A few of many activities were bridge, bowling, dancing, PTA, and attending baseball/football games, and many band concerts. She sometimes worked outside the home, in a business office, or on staff at St Anthony Hospital. She made friends everywhere.
