In Memory Of
Martha Jean Robinson
1921 - 2020

Martha Jean Robinson (Grimm) 98, of Westerville, passed away June 1, 2020. She was born on October 7, 1921 to Fredrick M. Grimm and Cora Grimm (TerVeen) at home in Bellevue, Ohio.

Martha was raised in Flat Rock Ohio and graduated from Thompson High School in 1939. She served her country during WWII (1942) in the US Navy WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) as a parachute rigger. After WWII she cooked for the Delta Theta Sigma fraternity house at The Ohio State University. She was a licensed beautician for 74 years and had many faithful customers well into her 80s. She was married to her husband, Charles, for 40 years.

Martha was a faithful member of the North Park (originally North East) Church of Christ and served in many capacities including Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School, Children's Church Leader and she served for many years as a joyful member on the Welcome Team at NorthPark Church and as a fervent member of the Prayer Ministry.
Martha is survived by her children Eric Robinson (Virginia Harrington), Scott Robinson (J Lina Breitkreuz), Rex Robinson (Rebecca Newman), Anita Gearhart (Mark Gearhart), Jeth Mill (Donna Rutkowski); Grandchildren: David Robinson, Elizabeth Robinson, Joni Brindley, Andrea Gearhart, Matt Robinson, Adam Gearhart, Josh Robinson, Great grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews.

She was the surviving member of her family and was preceded in death by her Husband Charles, Father, Mother, brother Fred Grimm, brother Richard Grimm, sister Cathryn Nottke, brother John Grimm, sister JoAnn Woosnam, brother Hunter Grimm, sister Mary Ellen Bowers.

She always made people feel loved, special. She always had a song in her heart and on her lips. Her favorite saying "I love you a bushel and a peck, a bushel and a beck and a hug around the neck!" will live on in our hearts and on our lips.

She has slipped the surly bonds of Earth and risen to kiss the face of God.

There will be a private family graveside service with a memorial service later in the fall.
