Edwin L. Walters, 77, passed away on September 21, 2020.

Ed was born on September 20, 1943 in Carrollton, KY to the late Jack and Beatrice Walters.

He is preceded in death by his brothers John and Patrick.

Surviving family includes loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Carol Walters; children, Becky Zibrik and Shamus Walters; son-in-law Mark; daughter-in-law Melissa; grandchildren Dane, Marco, Taven and Caden.

Ed proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1962 before being honorably discharged in 1968, having served one tour in Vietnam. He worked over 30 years at Roadway Express.

Ed was socially active donating his time and resources to Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish and St. Agnes church.

He was an avid beach comber, shell hunter and dog lover.

He enjoyed traveling across America and abroad, especially to Ocean Isle Beach, NC, as well as military squadron (VMA-225) reunions with Carol.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to OLPH parish/school.

Visitation Monday, Oct. 5, 2020 from 10am until the time of Memorial Mass at 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
