Mary Jane Harris, age 67, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away November 22, 2020.

She was born on December 3, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio to Raymond and Thelma Popp. They both precede her in death.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Tom Harris; son Mike (Marci) Schmidt; daughter Amy (Jon) Craft; daughter Katherine (Tim) Barnett; her ten beloved grandchildren; Camryn, Lauren, Cada, Amaya, Kyle, Wyatt, Evan, Emma, Ashtyn and Brody; great grandson Zaiden. She is also survived by her sister Judy (Jim) Goodykoontz; brother-in-law Al Harris; brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Debbi Tarbert and family; brother and sister-in-law Ken and Sandi Harris; lifelong friends: Mike Schmidt Sr.; Jonnie Mudd and family.

Mary is the heart of her family and will be missed terribly. She loved her family and friends dearly and with great passion. Her love for them and her faith in God strengthened her until the end.

Song of Solomon 2:16 says: “My beloved is mine and I am his; he browses among the lilies.”

Per her wishes, Mary will be cremated. Her family has decided to forgo a service at this time and are choosing to have a celebration of her life in the spring, where they would like all family and friends who loved her to join them in honoring her. Details to follow at a later date.
