In Memory Of
Dwayne T. Brooks
1963 - 2021

On Thursday, January 14th, 2021 we lost our special loved one - Dwayne Thomas Brooks.

He left this earth to go to his final resting place. Dwayne was my up-lift, I told him since the day we met. He has continued to be and always will be.

Dwayne was a devoted and loving husband, father, Paw-Paw, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He was truly the best man I ever met. He would help anyone, no matter what it was. There was a saying he told his kids and grandkids; "Shoot for the moon - even if you fall short, you will always be a star."

Dwayne was a family man and leaves behind a loving wife of 25 years, Tammy Brooks, who he loved more than life itself. He also leaves behind his kids, Amanda Brooks, Jackie (Mike) Kelly, Danielle (Ozzie) Haddock, Timothy and Wade Sherman. Landyn Sherman, a grandson he and Tammy are raising held a very special place in his heart, along with his 12 other grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Jamie, Donnie and Ronnie Brooks; father and mother-in-law, Butch and Linda Curnutte who he loved dearly.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Geneva "Jeanie" Brooks and brother Shane Brooks.

Visitation Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 from 2-4pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Masks are required for attendance.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Funeral Home to assist the family during this difficult time.
