Bobby Loyd Phillips passed away on March 3rd, 2021 at his home in Galloway, Ohio surrounded by his loving family. He went home to Jesus at the age of 84.

Bobby was born to Dockie and Lurana Kelley Phillips on September 14th, 1936 in Maize Kentucky. He was an army veteran and loved spending time with family and friends and listening to Country and Bluegrass music.

Bobby met his wife of 54 years, Barbara (McKenzie) in Columbus, Ohio in 1966 and together they raised three daughters Brenda, Tonya, and Robin.

Bobby joins his parents, Dockie and Lurana Kelley Phillips, his twin brother, Billy Floyd, his brothers Willis (Flo) Phillips, Wilford (Clotine) Phillips, Alvin G.Phillips and his sisters Wanda (Olgie) Gilliam and Grace (Edgar) Gilliam, and his sister-in-law Carol Phillips in Heaven.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his brother Ron Phillips of Grove City, Ohio, his sister-in-law Lee Phillips of Grove City, Ohio, Charlotte Carter of Grayson, KY, his daughters Brenda Brickey of Sandy Hook, KY, Tonya Phillips (Samuel) Young of Columbus, Ohio, and Robin Phillips (Jason) Miller of Dublin, Ohio, his six grandchildren, Jessica Brickey (Josh) of Hatteras, NC, Janie Brickey (Bud) of Sacramento, CA, Mason Phillips of Columbus, Ohio, Jaden Miller of Collinsville, IL, Jacey Miller of Dublin, Ohio, and Rainevan Miller of Dublin, Ohio and one great grandchild Lillian (Brickey) Smith of Hatteras, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and close friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio 43123. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The Moog Center for Deaf Education in St. Louis, Missouri.
