Ada Belle McLaughlin, 89, passed on March 31, 2021 at Kobacker House after suffering a massive stroke.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Edwin C McLaughlin; her parents Dayre Baker and Bertha Moore Baker; and her sister Mary Baker Saunders. She is survived by her friend and partner Frank Zubovich, children: Tim (Dee) of Mount Vernon, OH, Colleen (Loren) of Mooresville NC, Shawn, (Tena) of Obetz OH, and Bruce (Melissa) of Columbus OH. She is also survived by grandsons: Mat (Kelly), Justin, Michael (Emily), Dayre (Lizzy), Drew(Adriana), and Brandon ; granddaughter: Faith, and great-grand children: Juni, James, Garret, and Kristiana, and many unlisted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends! For the last 7 years she was lucky enough to find love for the second time and enjoyed and shared a wonderful and fulfilling life with Frank Zubovich whom she loved with all her heart. Belle, Ed, and Frank were 1949 graduates of Columbus South High School, where she was in Flag Core.

Ada Belle’s mother died when she was 4, leaving her older sister Mary to care for her until she was adopted and raised by her Aunt Doris Hain, Uncle and two cousins.

She worked/volunteered for many years at: Westly Ridge Retirement , Mount Carmel East (where she retired at 79 after 19 years of service), DFSA (Defense Finance Accounting Service), Mercy Hospital, the American Heart and Cancer Society, Voting booths, PTA, Teacher Assistant & Room Mother, Bible Study, Sunday School Teacher, and various Choirs.

She was very strong in her faith with God and wished everyone would find the Lord and bring him into their heart and lives. She attended South Methodist Church, until Jesus truly saved her and filled her with the Holy Ghost and filled her life with song. She attended Grace Apostolic Church for many, many years until her death where she was the longest attendee.

To All in Her Own Words:
May today be all you need it to be. May the peace of God and the freshness of his Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight, and conquer all your fears. May God manifest himself today in ways you have never experienced before. May your joys be fruitful, your dreams be closer, and your prayers be answered. I pray that your territory be enlarged. I pray for peace, healing, health, happiness, prosperity, joy, true and undying love for God. Amen.

A private direct-family-only service will be held at Newcomer Southwest Chapel where Paster Robert Linder, from Grace Apostolic will be officiating. Interment Glen Rest Cemetery.
