In Memory Of
Eddie Paul Dyson Jr.
1978 - 2021

Eddie Paul Dyson Jr., was born on January 15, 1978 to the parents of Eddie Paul Dyson Sr., and Martha Linda Dyson in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was taken to be with our Lord and Savior on April 30, 2021 at the tender age of 43.

Eddie gave his life to the Lord and was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church. He continued to serve and be a part of the church as a participating member of the
children’s choir.

As a young teen, Eddie was extremely athletic. He was successful at Sycamore High School where he received the award for Offensive Lineman of the year.

Eddie was also a phenomenal baseball player and his passion and talents led him to a traveling AAU baseball team where he and his team won several championships across the country including one World Series.

Eddie attended Wright State University where he pursued a degree in Finance and Marketing.

Eddie worked for Ohio State Medical Center, where he met his loving wife of 17 years, Michelle (Nowell) Dyson.

Throughout his life Eddie continued to participate in his love for sports by becoming a certified basketball & football referee, and a baseball umpire. Some of Eddie’s happiest moments were being a coach for his two son’s basketball and soccer teams.

Most of all Eddie was devoted to his wife, children and extended family. Eddie enjoyed traveling with his family and they took memorable trips all around the world.

Eddie was a dutiful father and spent a lot of time nurturing his children to have a strong sense of faith, education and continued success. He also encouraged them to work hard at everything that they did.

Eddie is sadly, but lovingly missed by his wife, and his four children, Storm, Sean, Aaron, and Arianna.

He is survived by his mother Martha Dyson, his sister Janelle McClain; five nieces and nephews; as well as many extended family and friends.

Eddie will be truly missed by those who love him, and he will never be forgotten.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 7th, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus- OH. A burial will follow in procession to Franklin Hills Memory Garden.
