Jonathan G. Travis, 72, of Columbus, Ohio, died on Wednesday evening, June 9th, 2021. He was born June 16, 1948, in Vinton, Ohio, to the late Arthur and Thelma Travis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Chwa Travis and by his five brothers Ronald, Thomas, David, Raymond, and Arthur Travis Jr., and his three sisters Margie Huffines, Marlene Copenhaver, and Lorena Browning Davis. Jonathan served in the US Army where he honorably served as Sergeant and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 4044. Funeral services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus Ohio on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 3PM. Memorial may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Newcomer, SW Chapel is providing services.
