John Riley Fultz residing in Columbus, Ohio died Sept. 16, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 46. He was born in Greenville, Mississippi to Joann Riley Burgess and William P. Fultz.

He formerly resided in Lexington, Kentucky and Covington, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joann Burgess; cousin, Hunter Todd, both of Louisiana; grandmothers, Evelyn Engle of Grove City, OH and Edna Jo Lynch of Mississippi; grandfathers, Randall Riley and William P. Fultz Sr. of Plain City; uncles, Thomas D. Fultz and John H. Fultz of Grove City.

He is survived by father, William P. Fultz (Trilby) of Newburgh, Indiana; sister, Elizabeth J. Sowell (Jason) of Tennessee; brothers, Ryan Hitchcock of Tennessee, Perry Fultz (Amanda) and Matthew (Kendra) of Indiana; aunts, Kathy (Terry) Todd, Jay (Van) Johnston, Carol (Marvin) Neal, Sherry (John) Stewart, Barbie Baker; uncles, Steve Fultz (Debbie) and Ben Fultz; special nephew, Todd (Julie) Avery; two great-nephews, Hendrix and Cash; Goddaughter, Jada. All friends were like family to John. He had several loving cousins in his life. His presence, laughter, and humor will be missed by all.

Visitation Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH from 4pm until 6pm, with Funeral immediately following at 6pm. Dr. Rev. Calvin Alexander to officiate.



The family is requesting that all attendees wear masks.
