1934 - 2021

Rev. Dellas Denver Rollins, Sr Pastor of the Bellevue Ave Lighthouse Church, 87, of Chillicothe, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at home with his family at his side. Dellas was born on August 9, 1934 in Robertsburg West Virginia to the late Roy E Rollins and Merlie E (Jividen) Rollins.

He was a great man of God. Always putting the church and others first. He had a Doctorate of Theology from the Biblical Apostolic University of Melvin, IL. Even though he never served in Armed Forces, he did serve our veterans, helping out at the Chillicothe post of the Veterans Administration for the past 22 years. He was so proud to help those that served our country.

Dellas was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Reba (Rawson) Rollins. He was also preceded in death by his second wife of 23 years, Doris (Fritzpatrick) Rollins. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Eunice (Rollins) Herdman, Rena Pearl Rollins, Doris Rollins, and brother Roy Orville Rollins.

He is survived by sisters Mary (Rollins) Scarberry and Glenda (Rollins) Benedum and his children, Sharon Rollins of Chillicothe, Rebecca (Jeffry) Wilson of Ashville, Naomi (Brian) Lloyd of Texas and Judy Robey of Somerset. Stepchildren, Janet (Bob) Martindale of Tennessee, Jacob Don (Jan) Search of Chillicothe, Virgil (Becky)Search of Chillicothe, Doris Blosser of Columbus, Kathy (Craig) Smith of Chillicothe, Kenny (Bonita) Search of Columbus, and Scott (Keri) Hinton of Columbus. His grandchildren, LaRae (Ron) Scheurell, Ian (Kerrie) Robinson, Reba (Duane) Rundio, Justina (Greg) Neville and Bryce Lloyd. Great Grandchildren, Zach Scheurell, Tyler Robinson, Matthew Rundio, Taylor Robinson and Rebecca Rundio. Many step grandchildren and Great grandchildren.

His family would like to thank the wonderful people at the Adena Hospice for the care they gave him. He loved you all. Special thanks to his beautiful angel RN Emily.

Visitation Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 from 5-8pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Graveside Funeral Service Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021 at 10am at Springbank Cemetery, Yellowbud, OH.
