He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Maxwell.
Surviving family includes loving wife, Becky, mother, Janeen Maxwell, children, Andrew Stember, Henry McNabb, Rain Maxwell, brother, Craig Maxwell, sister, Janeen (Mark) Capriotti, nephews, Noah and Evan Capriotti, step-daughters, Sydney Poe, Lauren Poe, good friends, Brian (Megan) Eddy, Tim (Andrea) Sturgill and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kurt loved the outdoors. He was most at home in the woods, lakeside or on the beach. He was a talented musician, and played for many years with his bands—One Eye Theory and Upstairs Willy. He had a great love for seeing live shows and concerts. He cherished time spent with family and friends more than any “thing” given to him. He was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be incredibly missed.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH 43065, where a memorial service will begin at 11am.
