Diana Lynn Johnson, age 69 of Grove City, Ohio went home to be with her Lord on January 15, 2022 at Ohio University Wexner Medical Center with her husband Jerry by her side. She was born on October 3, 1952 in Williamson, West Virginia, the daughter of Robert G. and Geneva M. Thompson. Her father preceded her in death in April 2021.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Gerard W. "Jerry" Johnson, her mother, Geneva and her other family members and friends.

She was a Christian and a member of Highland Baptist Church where she assisted teaching the smaller children in Sunday school for many years. She dearly loved children.

Diana lived in the Columbus area most of her life and was a graduate of Eastmoor High School in 1970. She was an avid Eastmoor and Ohio State fan.

The visitation will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 2pm until the time of the funeral service at 4pm at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123, with Rev. Joran Braughton officiating.

Guests are requested to comply with COVID 19 recommendations by wearing a mask and social distancing.

A private interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
