He was born on April 13, 1973 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Robert and Gloria Peace.
Devon is survived by his wife, Lisa Peace; children, Lyric Peace, Devon Peace, Jr., Nadia Peace; sister, Barbara Elliott, brother, Robert (Monica) Peace; father-in-law, James Hill, Sr., mother-in-law, Geri Hill; brothers-in-law, James (Amber) Hill, Jr., Raymond (Heather) Hill; best friends, Dion (Tamar) Davis, Juan (Jessie) Roman, Ben Clark, Darius Spearman and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Devon was a loving husband and father. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was part of a music group, LNA, and enjoyed playing baseball. Devon was very outspoken and had a witty sense of humor. He devoted himself to Christ at an early age. He was a loyal uncle to Danielle, Tanisha (Duane), Annissa, Maddison, Kendall, Harper, Ryan, James (Robin) Elliott Jr. (JJ), Robert, Khalil, Jayden, Jabez, Jabari and Jacobi and godfather to Yasmine, Kaytlin, JayJ, Dana, Dionna, and Dion, Jr.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm at The Refreshing Place, 2500 Nebraska Ave, Toledo, OH, 43607 with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 pm also at The Refreshing Place. He will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery.
