Carol M Ius, age 78 of Columbus passed away peacefully on Weds May 11, 2022 at OH Living Sarah Moore Home. She was born on September 10, 1943 in Cambridge, OH.
Carol retired after 22 years of service at GMAC in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph of 44 years and parents Jack and Rena Lawry.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Lori (Jeff) Crewe of Delaware, OH, John Ius of Columbus, OH and Kathy (Tripp) Childress of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Alex and Rachael Crewe, Sophia and Vincent Ius and Jack, Gracie and Tessa Childress; brother, Kenny (Jane) Lawry of Sunbury, Ohio and many nieces and nephews and her companion, Roger Bigelow and their dog, Toby.
The family would like to thank the Mt Carmel Hospice team for their loving care of their mother as well as Sarah Moore Home.
Private family services will be held and burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, OH.
