Aaron James Schoenberger, 42 years, of Hilliard, OH, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

Aaron was born on Sept. 16, 1979 in Upper Sandusky, OH. He was a 1998 graduate of Westland High School, Columbus, OH.
Surviving is his beloved wife, Anita (Cieckiewicz) Schoenberger, whom he was with for 17 years. Also surviving are his father, James A. Schoenberger (Debbie,) Columbus, OH, his mother, Cheri (Rhodes) Mack (Gary), Upper Sandusky, OH, sister Jennifer deSanJose (James), Powell, OH, and sister, Melissa Baugess (Nathan), Grove City, OH, and 5 nieces and 3 nephews.

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, James V. & Marilyn Schoenberger and Dr. Herschel & Jeannette Rhodes, Upper Sandusky, OH.
Aaron was a mechanic at Hugh White Honda and loved tinkering with cars and all things mechanical from an early age. He and his wife loved animals and rescued a couple of dogs. Aaron also loved spending time at the family farm with his “fur babies,” riding the old Farmall tractor, (which he kept running!) walking in the woods, and other countless outdoor activities. From an early age, he loved airplanes and flying with his dad and Grandpa, air shows, RC model airplanes, trick stunt kites, and recently flying his drone.

We will forever miss your beautiful smile, warm hugs, love for family, and helping others! He will be deeply missed by his family and everyone who was blessed to know him.

Visitation hours on Wednesday, May 18, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral
Service will be Thursday, May 19, at 10:30 am. Graveside service will be Thursday afternoon, at 2:30 pm, at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351
