Julia Ann Wilkinson, age 67, of Canal Winchester, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Julia was born February 6, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio. A graduate of Whetstone High School class of 1973.

Julia loved her family, extended family, and close friends. She enjoyed all types of music; and was gifted with a beautiful singing voice. In her younger years she would sing along with family, all taught by their grandfather Bruce McQueen, who was a local entertainer. She would often be singing her favorite artists songs like the Beatles (her favorite) along with Linda Ronstadt and Carlie Simon and many other groups from James Taylor to Pink Floyd. Julia loved family gatherings (poker night), St. Patrick’s Day, the holidays, vacations, and picnics at Lake Logan & Madison Lake. She loved to cook, adored all flowers especially purple, and considered tomatoes a special treat. Above all, she loved her two children and grandchildren. She was looking forward to becoming a Great Grandmother in November 2022.
Julia was preceded in death by Grandparents Bruce J. and Mary E. (Hammock) McQueen, Mother Maryann (McQueen) Wilkinson, Aunt Ida E. (McQueen) Krivda, Uncle William B. McQueen, Aunt Hazel M. McQueen.

Julia is survived by sister Sharon K. (Wilkinson) Hubbard (Fred), children Shannon C. (Baker) Riegle (Nick), Shane C. Crouch, grandchildren Megan C. (Herald) Messer (Garrett), Michael S. Baker, Shawn M. Riegle, Samuel J. Riegle.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. Service will be held graveside (Holy Family) at St. Joseph's Cemetery. The address is: 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137. In lieu flowers, donations may be sent to The Kidney Foundation https://www.kidney.org/offices/nkf-serving-central-ohio
