William J. "Bill" Winters, 85, passed away on May 18, 2022. He was born on July 4, 1936 in Newark, OH.

He was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School in Newark, OH. Bill was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-58 as an Airman First Class being discharged on May 21, 1958. Bill worked as an accountant for several companies throughout his lifetime. He graduated from Miami University, Oxford. Bill was an active member of the St. Joan of Arc Church in Powell, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter A. and Loretta Winters, sister, Marilyn Edly, son, Matthew Winters.

Surviving family includes wife of 62 years, Marilyn Kay, children, Laura M. (Brett A.) Kravitz, Mark T. Winters, sisters, Linda (Phil) Fink, Patricia (Thomas) Shannon, Susan (Jonathan) Russell, grandchildren, Jacob A., Ryan J. and Sarah M. Kravitz, Mark B. (Genevieve) Winters, Mitchell D. and Gia M. Winters, Tyler M., Amber C. Winters, sisters-in-law, Karen Codlin, Cheryl (Fred) Lentz.

The family wishes to thank Hospice, Kemper House, Luella (Visiting Angels), and Jami Fritter for their loving care.

Bill had a good life, a loving family and fun traveling to some of his favorite places including Alaska.

Funeral mass for William Winters will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on June 30th at 11am.

The church is located at 10700 Liberty Rd., Powell, Ohio 43065.
