Walter Ross Alexander, Sr, age 86 passed away on September 13, 2022. He was born on June 25, 1936 to the late Howard and Isabella (Raymond) Alexander in Lincoln, RI. He joined the Army, April 1, 1955 and was honorably discharged March 7, 1958. In 1960 he worked for the family business on the construction of Route 90, which led him to the Cheerio Inn in North Kingsville, Ohio. There he met his future wife, Nancy Calogero and they were married on October 22, 1960. He loved deep sea fishing, basketball, softball, handball and especially golf.

Along with his parents, Walter is preceded in death by his wife Nancy. He is survived by twin sons Michael and Walter Jr., daughter-in-law Cathy, significant other Rachel Lee Cook, grandchildren James, Jackson, Angela, and Maria, great grandchildren Vincent, Caleb, Nora, Jade, Joshua, and special friends Anne W. Fraley and Lorna Alexander.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
