Ida was the third child born to Earl J. Coverdale and Sarah J. (Day) Coverdale, who lost two previous children, Lillie Belle and Edward, in their infancy. Ida was born on May 28, 1926, in Columbus, Ohio. She was a lifetime resident of Columbus. Ida had previous memberships with Southwood Church of Christ with her parents and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children, Charles J. Harris of Casselberry, FL, Connie J. (Harris) Allegrina of Beavercreek, OR, David R. Hollenbach, Jr., of Casselberry, FL and Miriam E. (Hollenbach) Adair of Columbus, OH, including ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome to the viewing on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 1:30-2pm, followed by a funeral service at 2pm at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. She will be laid to rest at Obetz Cemetery next to her parents’ graves.
