Jason Lee Smith, 42, will forever have eternal peace.

He passed away March 21, 2015.

Born August 7, 1972 in Columbus, Jason graduated from Brookhaven High School.

He is survived by his wife, best friend and soul mate, Tammy Jo (Whitt) Smith of 22 years, his beloved companion, Chloe Bell, father, Bud Smith, brother, Chris (Briana) Smith, sister, Rainbow (Kevin) Thornton and many nephews and nieces.

Jason was never a son-in-law but always a son and will be dearly missed by his Whitt Family.

He had a love for fishing and hunting; Jason always enjoyed watching American Pickers and was passionate about being a picker himself.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Merry (Clark) Smith.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Northwest Church of the Nazarene, 5707 Olentangy River Road, Columbus with the funeral service beginning at 2:00pm. Rev. Mark Baer will officiate.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.

Contributions may be made to the Northwest Christian Child Care Center.
