Verna L. Milligan, 75, passed away May 5, 2012. She was born April 11, 1937 in Athens, OH, to her late parents, Charles Tippie and Queenie Lowery. Also preceded in death by her husband Ralph L. Milligan. Survivors include her long time partner, Earl Harris; children, Jim (Linda) Milligan, Allen Milligan, Greg Milligan, Marty (Lori) Milligan, Jeff (Michelle) Milligan, Melba (Dave) Newberry, Wyndie Milligan, Lisa (Brian) Hoffman and Missy (Mike); brothers, Jim (Arlene) Tippie, John (Joanne) Tippie, Bill Lowery And Joe Tippie; 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family Cas Blunt and special friend, Vicki Lamb. The family would like to thank Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation and Acclaim Hospice for all of their kind and loving care of Verna. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 10 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 11, 2012 at Clark Chapel Cemetery, Athens, OH.
