Michael Chapman, age 70, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in his home in Orient, Ohio.
He was born in Spokane, WA on June 13, 1946 and grew up in Sacramento, CA.
He went on to spend most of his adult life in Reno, NV where he became a well known Western Artist.
Art was his passion and he enjoyed sharing his work with many people.
Surviving family includes wife, Kathleen Chapman; children, Chris (Jill), Jason (Stacy), Jamie (Pete) and Candace (Steve); step-son, Chad; grandchildren, Tristan, Whitney, Otha, Ayden and Jason; also survived by many friends and family.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 2-4 PM at The Church Next Door, 5755 Feder Road, Columbus, OH 43228.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to Pinky's Passion for Parkinson's Cure, 1829 N 177th St, Shoreline, WA 98133.
