The world lost an amazing man on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, when David Allen Holt, 32, of Columbus, OH, went to be with The Lord. He was born on September 12, 1984.

David graduated from Franklin Heights High School and Southwestern Career Academy in 2003 where he studied Construction Technology. He completed Fire Fighting School and was in Electrician school when he fell ill in 2011.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents; Virginia O'Neal and Dave Anderson, aunt, Kim Hayes.

Surviving family includes mother, Sharon Holt, father, Tim (Janet) Holt, siblings, Kyle (Kryssie) and Brittni (Dan), Josh (Patti) Anderson, Uncle Duke and Aunt Julie Anderson, Aunt Tina (Darwin) Reese, grandparents, David (Pat) Holt, Marrie "Grandma Tazzie" Anderson, Gma and Gpa Woods (Ann and Ron), niece, Ivy Anderson, nephew, Oakley Anderson and several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family.

David was an avid OSU Buckeyes fan, hunter, carpenter, all-around athlete, 4 wheel riding, card/game playing, fun loving, and competitive man. David had the kindest heart and was always there to help anyone in need. He was a great person & friend and had a positive impact on so many, lighting up any room with his smile, laugh and hugs!

So many lifelong friendships were made in such a short time while he was here with us on earth & we will all miss him dearly!! May you be at peace in that ball field in the sky, watching over all of us as our guardian angel until we join you in heaven one day! Your memories will live forever in our hearts.

We love you & miss you!
