1945 - 2017

Robert Earl Brungarth, 71 of Orient OH, went to be with his savior Jesus Christ November 8, 2017. Robert a.k.a. Indian, was a retired member of Local 669 of 33 years. In 1990, he received craftsmanship of the year award for his exceptional work at the City Center Mall. He was an active member of Grove City Church of the Nazarene and had such a steadfast love for Jesus.

He is survived by his loving wife Peg of 53 years of marriage; brother Richard (Mary) Brungarth; brother-in-law William (Marilyn) Mathews; sister-in-law Barb (Mike) Smith; sons Tony (Leslie) Brungarth, Bill (Cassie) Brungarth, favorite daughter Annette (Rich) Kaiser; grandchildren Stacie, Kaitlyn, Jake, Lauren, Shelby, Heath, Austin, James and Cory; great-grandchildren Gabrielle and Gage; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Earl and Hazel Brungarth.

Special thanks to the staffs at the James Cancer Center and Hospice for the special care and support they provided.

Many fond memories vacationing with his family in Hilton Head, chatting early mornings with the crew at Jolly Pirate and hanging out with his best buddy Marc Wheir.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made by choice to either Grove City Church of the Nazarene, the James Cancer Center, or Hospice. Friends may call from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Sunday November 12, 2017 at Grove City Church of the Nazarene. Funeral Service will be held on Monday 11am at Church.
