Ernestine VanNess (Thompson) born on December 3, 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland passed away peacefully on February 22, 2018 at age 82. She was preceded in death by both of her parents Edith and Ernest Thompson. She was a graduate of Morgan State University, Baltimore, Maryland and retired from the Federal Government as a Security Clearance Adjudication Specialist with more than 30 years exemplary service. We will all hold dear many very special happy memories shared with Ernestine. Ernestine was loved and cherished by all who knew her especially her surviving family, beloved daughter and son, Daphne Michelle Cooper and Kevin Ernest Manns (Copeland), grandchildren; Kevin Ernest Cooper II (Leah), Damon, Sienna, Archie, Jordi Manns; great grandchildren; Kevin III, Kylie, Kayle, Kara, Kendall, expected baby boy Cooper and close friends Judy, Jesse, LaVerne, Colleen, Eva (deceased), God children Gail, Aaron, and numerous co-workers, family and friends.

Graveside service will be held at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 10:00 am.
