1935 - 2018

James Franklin McNeal Sr. (Frank) born in Oak Hill, Ohio on Mar. 6 1935, went home to be with the Lord on Mar. 19, 2018.

Preceded in death by parents, Marion and Francis McNeal; brothers, Ronald, Brinton; sister, Kathy, and great-granddaughter, Eliana Coy.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty; children and spouses; Frank (Vicki), Randy, David, Donald (Kathy), Kayleen (Wayne) King; Grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Tiffany, Matt, Curtis, Naomi, and Valerie; Brothers and Sisters, Shirley Freyermuth, Joann (Bob) Martindale, JR (Donna) McNeal, Carl (Margaret) McNeal, Kenny (Sue) McNeal, Mary (Rick) Cutlip; sister-in-law, Janet McNeal; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Frank graduated from Jackson High School in 1953. Worked for the Grove City Farmers Exchange and retired from the City of Grove City Water and Street Dept. in 1997 after 30 years of service. He was an original member of the Crusaders Gospel Quartet traveling Ohio and the surrounding states spreading the gospel of Jesus through singing and music.

He was also the choir Director for both Darbyville and Darbydale Nazarene Church. God, family and music were his life.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Darby Creek Church of the Nazarene (Darbydale), 5443 Norton Rd., Grove City, OH 43123.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment to follow at Muhlenberg Twp. Cemetery (Darbyville), Williamsport, OH.
