Mary E. Logan, 84, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 in Dayton, OH. Mary was born on June 20, 1933 in Oak Hill, OH to Ervin and Lovena (Jackson) Ford.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Alice Mullins, Robert Ervin Ford, Errol T. Ford, Lenora M. Ford and Timothy E. Ford.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Brian) Scott; siblings, Clemevest Anderson, Dorothy Smith, Joyce (Lester) Anderson, Lowell Ford, Steven Ford, Rev. Roger (Crystal) Ford and Clarissa Ford; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Mary was a devoted mother, sister, daughter, mother-in-law and friend. Everyone that knew Mary loved her. She graduated from Rio Grande College with a bachelor's degree in Education. Mary worked for 41 years as a second grade teacher for Columbus Public Schools. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 12pm to 2pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. A funeral service will immediately follow at the Newcomer NE Chapel.
