Dwain Keath Starks was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 28, 1965 to Thomas and Linda (Haynesworth) Starks. He passed away on June 8, 2018 at the age of 52. Dwain graduated from Penn Hills High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While living in Pittsburgh, Dwain became and remained an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was also a "Trekkie" and enjoyed building and racing RC Cars. He liked Sci-Fi movies and TV shows. Dwain was also known for his skills with his hands in building and remodeling for many people.

He was preceded in death by mother, Linda Starks, and brother, Stefan Starks. He is survived by his father, Thomas (Holly) Starks, daughter, Dy'Mon Starks, sister Carol Starks, Lil Sis Ciara Wood, nephew Donovan Starks, niece Sheree Starks, great niece Stefani Starks-Jackson. Also special friends Trina Johnson, William Chapman, Tanya Moton, Sherri Foster and a host of other family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 10am until time of service at 11am with Pastor Gerald Saffo officiating. Burial to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, OH. Following the cemetery a repast will be held at the VFW Post 9473, 1420 Waggoner Rd., Reynoldsburg, OH.
