Thelma Jane Belisle, 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in Columbus, OH. Thelma was born on May 18, 1925 in Columbus to Tate and Vena (Hodge) Simmons.

Thelma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack R. Belisle; and sister, Lucille Posey.

She is survived by her children, Mary Feezer, Linda (Steve) Smith, John (Carolyn) Belisle, and David Belisle; grandchildren, Jackie (Ryan) Goddard, Steve Smith, Amanda (Jed) Knicely, Sarah Belisle, Daniel Belisle, and Kristina (Brandon) Preston; 6 great-grandchildren; cousins, Lonnie and Nancy Hodge; best friends, Jack and Edna Gordon; and many other loving family members and friends.

Thelma retired from Chase Bank, formerly Bank One, after many years of service and was a member of the Teamster Retirement Group. Thelma enjoyed playing Eucher, Bingo, the Lottery and loved Roller Skating. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10:00am also at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel. She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 2215 Citygate Dr. Suite A. Columbus, OH 43219 in Thelma's honor.
