Lynn Robert (Wallace) Amersdorfer, age 66, died Friday, September 14, 2018 at OSU East Hospital.

Lynn was born on June 11, 1952 in West Palm Beach, FL and grew up in Michigan. He entered the Air Force in 1971 after graduating from Muskegon Catholic High School and was stationed in Marysville, CA. In 1973 he returned to Michigan where he began in auto body repair. He and his wife Paula (Mangino) moved to Alpena, MI to raise their family in 1978. Upon selling his business, Supreme Body Shop, in 1994, they moved to Columbus, OH where he began working in auto loan finance. Lynn retired in 2009. Lynn was an avid car guy, loved gardening, and served as a baseball coach for his sons and did theatre with his daughter.

Lynn was preceded in death by Paula, his father, Miller Wallace, and adopted father, Matthew Amersdorfer.

He is survived by daughter, Niccole Amersdorfer, sons, Lynn Jr. and Matt (Andrea) Amersdorfer, honorary granddaughter, Rhiannon Grover, grandson, Trent and granddaughter Hunter Amersdorfer, mother, Pat, brother, Eldon and sister, Sue.

Visitation will be held from 2-4pm, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Newcomer, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 4323, where a funeral service will begin at 4pm.
