Calvin was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He retired after 40 years of service as a railroad engineer with CSX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Ethel Hall, sister, Loretta Willis.
Surviving family includes wife, Nancy, children, Cyndi (Jeff) Landis, Crissy (Harry) Hanna, Mark (Melanie) Hall, grandchildren, Kayla, Hannah, Harrison, Maddie, Leo, Houck, Harlee, 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bloom Baptist Church, 4210 Cedar Hill Road, Lithopolis, OH 43136 on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 3pm, with a gathering of family and friends from 1-3pm.
In lieu of flowers please give to Bridgeway Academy School for Autism, 2500 Medary Avenue, Columbus, OH 43202 in honor of his grandson, Houck.
