Robert A. Stone 81 of Columbus passed peacefully on June 12, 2019. He was born on Oct. 5, 1937 in Syracuse, NY to Merton and Ethel (Davey) Stone who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Marilyn (Ficarro) Stone, children Scott (Tamara) Stone, Robert Stone JR, Steven (Bridget) Stone, Sheila Rinehart, Linda (Tim) Castle. 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, 2 sisters and a brother.
Robert "Bob" was retired from Nationwide Insurance and was an avid sports fan, especially the Cincinnati Reds and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Worthington Christian Village for their loving care and support.
Private family services were held. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. The family was assisted by the Newcomer NE Chapel. Memorial donations can be made to Mt Carmel Hospice, Worthington Christian Village or the Franklin County Humane Society.
