Caryl Fansler, age 81, passed away on September 4, 2019. She was born on June 19, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Frank and Julia Koenig.

She retired from Columbus Developmental Center as a tech typist for many years. Caryl was an avid Ohio sports fan, ranging from the Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians, not to forget The Ohio State Buckeyes. A long standing member of St. John's UCC Church. Her greatest joys were her sons and her grandchildren, and she always enjoyed traveling and taking family vacations.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Emerson. Caryl is survived by her sons, Kevin ( Elizabeth) Fansler and Brian (Jackie) Fansler; brother, Donald (Jenny) Koenig; grandchildren, Sarah and Dakota Fansler; many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Friends may call at the Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio. Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating
