Janice Marie Nichols (Miller), age 83 passed away at OSU Hospital on Tuesday, September 10 2019. Janice was born November 7, 1935.

Janice loved to go ballroom dancing every Saturday night for many years usually at Milano’s where her brother Bob played drums and she occasionally sang. There were many times that Janice and her family would get together and sing, play music, cards or just sit around the kitchen table enjoying each others company. Janice was known for her love of shoes, especially high heels. Janice was a stay at home mom for most of her life, working periodically as a Rental Consultant for Cardinal Inc. Her cooking specialities were her Fried Chicken and Macaroni Salad.

She is preceded in death by husbands, Gustav Miller and Jack Hoggard; mother and step-father, Evelyn and Chester (Pat) Patrick; father Harry Stainer; brothers, Robert and Jerry Stainer; best friends, Gloria Wilson and JoAnn Downey Birney. Janice (affectionately known as Sis to her family) is survived by her daughters and son in laws, Joni (Robert) McDonald, Carla (Mike) Daniel, LeAnne (Jeff) Rhonemus and her son and daughter in law Gus Eric (Keri) Miller. She is also survived by her 14 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Also surviving her are sisters and brother in laws, Carla (Richard) Atkinson; Rita (Steve) DeVore; brother and sister in law Michael (Debbie) Patrick and sister in laws, Pat Stainer and Debbie Stainer; cousin, Shirley Anne (Tom) Russell. Friends may call at the Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery. Pastor Chuck Nell officiating.
