Harriet E. "Nanie" Penman (Turnbaugh), 100, of Galena, Ohio, passed away September 30, 2019. She was born on May 1, 1919 in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, to the late Clare and Ruth Turnbaugh.

She is preceded in death by her husband; James Penman; son, Jon Penman; brother; Clare Turnbaugh; and sister-in-law, Margaret Mulhollem.

Surviving family includes; daughter in-law, Judith Irvin; grandchildren; Jeffry (Erin) Penman, Jodelle Whitney, Jennifer (Todd) Smith; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Evan, Grant, Parker, and Henry; great-great grandson, Mayson; nephews, Gary (MaryAnne) Turnbaugh, Craig (Alverda) Turnbaugh, Chris (Kathy) Turnbaugh, Paul (Valerie Cravens) Mulhollem ; sister-in-law, Nancy Turnbaugh; and Aunt Helen Merideth (109 yrs. old).

During her life, Nanie devoted her time serving the First Presbyterian Church in Beaver Falls, PA. She was the longest and oldest member of the congregation.

Nanie enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all.

Graveside services will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, OH on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00am with the burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer associaion (www.alz.org).
