Barbara (Bobbie) J (Schirtzinger) Higgins, 95 of Columbus, OH. Passed away on Sat Oct 5,2019 was born on Aug 4 1924. Preceded in death by her Husband Earl L. Higgins Sr. Parents: Aaron & Helen Schirtzinger. brothers Aaron, Louie and Burge. Granddaughters Lori & Julie. Survived by children: Victor, Earl Jr., Sarah, Bobbie, Kathy, Lenny, Janet, Mary, George, Pat, Connie, Eddie, Teal, and their Spouses. 33 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren and Sister Mary, many nieces, nephews and cousins and her Toledo Taco Friends and many other friends.
#1 Fan of the Indy 500, Special thanks to Doug Boles!! Graduate of Central High School - Class of 1944. Member of the Linden Eagles, serving 40+ years, and served as Madam President of the Women’s Columbus, Eagles #2252. Worked for the Columbus Public Schools for 25 years.
She has been a “mother & grandmother” to many and never met a stranger.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday Oct 8, 2019 at the Newcomer Funeral home located at 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43231

Funeral Services will be held at St Agnes Church, 2364 West Mound Street, Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday at 11am.

After the burial, the family would like to invite family and friends to the Columbus Linden Eagles #2252, 3800 Westerville Rd., Columbus, OH for food and fellowship.
