Ed Champlin, age 69, passed away on January 8, 2020, at home with his family. He was born on August 22, 1950 to the late Wilda and Orrison Champlin in Columbus, Ohio.

Ed was a history buff, with much knowledge and appreciation of vintage pieces and antiques, making many life long friendships with fellow collectors. Though his greatest love was his family, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

He was preceded in death by his loving in-laws, Robert and Nancy Seese and sister-in-law Lori (Seese) Rich. Left to cherish his memory, is his wife of 44 years, Cyndi; children Aaron (Diann) Champlin and Kristin (Julius Keller) Champlin; siblings, Louise (Norm) Elliott, Chuck Champlin, JoAnn (John) Jordan, Sueann (Chuck) Bettison Sher, Carol (Paul) Walraven Boyles, James (Sharon) Walraven, brother-in-law Bob (Pam) Seese; grandchildren, James Edgington, Charlotte Champlin, Isaiah Keller, Julius Keller.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, January 18, from 11:00 to 11:30 visitation at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus St, Grove City, OH 43123. The Memorial Service will begin at 11:30, with luncheon immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Charity Newsies, which was a charity dear to his heart.
