She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William "Keith" Calhoun, her siblings: brother, Jose Leiva and sister, Gloria Mora.
Aracelly is survived by her daughters: Esther (Ron) Reynolds, Becky Rodriguez, grandchildren: Veronica, Andrew and Rebekah. Also survived by siblings: Odilio Leiva, Otilio Leiva, sister: Marina Dennis, as well as many nephews and nieces. Aracelly was born on May 5, 1940, "Cinco de Mayo", in San Jose, Costa Rica.
She grew up on her grandparents farm. She went on to live with several missionary families during her later teen years. Mom was an avid follower of Christ. She loved to worship and spend much of her time reading the Bible. She had a passion for evangelism, as she sang in her early years with the Billy Graham Crusade choirs and traveled throughout Central America. She lived everyday joyously and had a contagious spirit. Mom was known for always having a smile and a hug for everyone.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11am to 12pm, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Road, Grove City, OH, where a memorial service will begin at 12pm.
