Mark Cornell, age 61 of Columbus, passed away on June 2, 2020. He was born on May 22, 1959 to Carl and Nancy (Farley) Cornell in Columbus, OH. He enjoyed cooking (every pan in the house), gardening, well loved for his sense of humor, ghost hunts and sci-fi movies. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Karen (Hounshell) Cornell, daughter Faithann Hawkins (Julia), son James Hawkins (Jessica), grandchildren Asher, Micah, Noah Hawkins, brother Mike Cornell (Kay), niece Sarah Stover (Ryan), great niece Elise, nephew Robert Cornell (Pam).

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

Graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH at 10am.
