In Memory Of
Aubrey Chawinga
1974 - 2020

Aubrey B. Chawinga, age 45, went home to be with the Lord.

Aubrey was born in Zambia on June 28, 1974. His parents are Hastings Chawinga and late mother Anastasia Finis Chawinga.

He was married to Mattie Chawinga. He leaves his brothers Kebbie Chawinga, Daniel Chawinga, Benard Chawinga, Simon Chawinga; sisters Grace Chawinga, Tionge Chawinga, Queen Chawinga; nieces Zoe, Victoria, Diana, Glory; and nephews Kelvin, Emmanuel and Andrew.

At the age of 18 years in 1992 Aubrey was born again while at a secondary school (high school) In 1993 Aubrey attended a two day youth missionary workshop at Chongoni in Dedza district. From 1999-2000 he went and attended a six month basic missionary training in Zambia (a satellite south african missionary base). He went to South Africa school of world missions for a year where he obtained 1st award trophy. Between 2003 and 2005 he subsequently was called back to help and do practical work at the center after a year. In 2006 he shared his vision to establish a para church non-denominational mission agency, which was indeed registered in 2007. The sole vision of the agency is to reach out to the unreached youth and old in the world. With his apostolic gift he traveled and evangelized to bring youth to Christ and also to disciple and grow them. He zealously penetrated school and college doors with the gospel. He had in his days recommended supported and sent two (one after the other) persons to undergo same training in South Africa to harnessing the implementation of the work of God. Aubrey was Senior Pastor and founder for “Heart for the Nations” and “Alive Christian Church” in Lilongwe, Malawi and still going forth in Malawi.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 2nd, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a service immediately following.

Burial will take place at Eastlawn Cemetery.
