Lynnola grew up in South Shore, KY where her father owned a grocery store. When she was 22 she met the love of her life, Rufus, and they married on September 30, 1961 in South Shore, KY. A few years later, they moved to Columbus, OH so Rufus could find work as a mechanic. She spent most of her years as a housewife and Mom, as well as a foster Mom. When she was 28 a co-worker of Rufus invited them to church and she accepted Jesus as her Savior. From then on, she spent her time learning more about Jesus and started teaching Sunday School classes. She taught hundreds of various classes over the years and led many to Jesus. She had many Bible studies in her home. She had a special heart towards women who had been abused and hurt and spent much time loving and mentoring those women back to health. Many called her Mom. She will always be cherished in our hearts and greatly missed. The viewing will be Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Potter’s House Church of God, 3220 Lowell Dr., Columbus, OH 43204.
