1977 - 2020

Richard W. VanMeter Jr., age 42, passed away on September 25, 2020. He was born on October 22, 1977 in Columbus, OH to the late Sherri and Richard W. VanMeter Sr.

Rickey loved watching football, especially the Buckeyes. He enjoyed playing cards and watching his kids play sports. Rickey will be missed by many.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Savana, Sierra and Saige; long-time companion and mother of his children, Jamie Scott; step-siblings, Laura and Jason Culley; many cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Preceded by his brother, Zach.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 12-3:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City. Masks Required.
