William C. Cruse, 74, passed away at home on November 19, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Columbus, OH on June 28, 1946.
Bill was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy and retired from General Motors. He was an avid golf fan, enjoyed watching TV, playing poker, listening to Motown music and he loved setting up his Buckeye Store at the Ohio State Fair every year.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth McKeeman, brothers, Lynn McKeeman, Robert (McKeeman) Green and beloved dog, Mia Mia.
Surviving family includes loving wife of 56 years Nancy, children, Marlena (Bill) Ling, Chris (Tony) McMahon, Jeannie (Ron) Reffett, Bill (Aimee) Cruse, grandchildren, Jamie, Taylor, Dylan, Lauren, Cameron, Tyler, Billy, Sydney, great-grandchildren, Nathan, Aurora, Aidan, Taya, Olivia, Caz, Declan, Greyson, brothers, Sam (Gloria) Britain, Joe (Jane) McKeeman, sister, Trinh (Tommy) Tran, sister-in-law, Mary McKeeman and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 2-5pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH 43065.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Avita Home Health and Hospice, 1220 North Market Street, Galion, OH 44833.
