Leslie Earl Stayer Sr., 75, of Galena, Ohio, passed away December 7, 2020.
He was born in Louisville, KY on April 16, 1945 to the late Edgar and Opal (Hollis) Stayer I.
He is preceded in death by loving wife of 44 years, Mary (McCarthy) Stayer; and brother, Edgar Stayer II
Surviving family includes, devoted daughter, Marianne (Adam) Vennemeyer; son, Leslie (Jean Watkins) Stayer, Jr.; grandchildren, Ashley Stayer, Kelsey Stayer, Cole Vennemeyer, Ryan Vennemeyer, Levi Stayer, and Landon Stayer; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Leslie was a 1965 graduate of Male High School in Louisville, KY. He then graduated Gallaudet University, Washington D.C. in 1970. Post grad he began his career as a computer programmer and analyst; then, retiring from the Census Bureau.
He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and will be sorely missed.
