William DeHart Biggs, age 80 of Columbus, passed away on July 15, 2021. He was born on March 25, 1941 to the late Harvey S. and Mary Opal (DeHart) Biggs in Portsmouth, OH. Bill is survived by his children Lori (Christopher Alexis) McKinster, Pat (Bud) Kindler, Cindy (David) Abernethy and Christopher (Esther) Biggs, grandchildren Jason, Julie, Theresa, John Michael, David, B J, Morgan, Chris, Shannon, Lauren, Gabby and Ethan, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, sisters Yvonne Carroll, Teresa (Cliff) Lehr and Debra (Ron) Williams, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Katherine Overholt.

Bill was a retired machinist, avid wood worker, diehard Browns fan, eternal jokester, and was a gold medalist in procrastination. His grandchildren were the light of his life, loved to travel, crossword puzzles and his love of reading leaned toward U.S. History.

Friends may call at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 4:00pm until time of service at 6:00pm. Burial will be held on Wednesday at Garvin Ridge Cemetery, Olive Hill, KY at 1:00pm. Message of condolences may be shared with the family at www.NewcomerColumbus.com
