Sherry Williams, age 58, of Columbus, Ohio died on September 13th, 2021 at her home. She was an extraordinary strong and stubborn woman but had the biggest heart. She would give her last dollar, her shirt off her back, her shoulder to lean on, her ear to listen, a plate of food if you needed fed, or a place to sleep to anyone that needed it. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, and a friend who loved unconditionally and was loved by so many. She was an angel on Earth and if you were ever lucky enough to cross her path, I can guarantee that you were touched by her kindness, her smile, or her laugh. We are all very blessed to have had each moment (whether it was just in passing or for her life time) that we had with her on this Earth. She is loved and will be missed by so many.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Alla May Salyer; her father, James Salyer; a sister, Naomi Easter; and a brother Anthony Salyer. She is survived by a husband, Orbit Williams Sr.; her children Barbara “Barbie” Williams, Orbit Williams Jr, Matthew “Kane” Williams, Starella “Star” (Juan Sr.) Sanchez; her grandchildren Geraldo, Juan Jr., Maleni “Vanessa”, Damien, Dajuan, Armani, Jayceon, Dino, Olivia, Odell, Breanna, Alize, Kane Matthew, Amber, Amaya, Alonzo, and Aaliyah; her great grandchildren Sativa and Savion; sister, Brenda (Ed) Jordan; brother, Ace Salyer; and sister, Bonida Salyer.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 with the service following starting at 4:00 at Newcomer-Southwest Chapel. 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
