Craig Owen Seitz passed away September 30, 2021 at age 59.
He grew up in Columbus, Ohio, graduated from Brookhaven High School, Class of 1980, and Columbus Technical Institute in 1983.
His Ohio Highway Patrol career began at the Academy in 1985 and led him to patrol posts as a state trooper in the Warren and Delaware Districts.
He later was transferred to Investigative Services in Columbus and then was a lieutenant in the Executive Protection unit until his retirement in 2007.
Craig also starred in a FoxTV episode of Real Stories of the Highway Patrol in 1996.
Craig's greatest joy in life was sharing baseball and all activities with his son, Nick Seitz.
Other survivors include his mother, Carol Seitz; father, Paul Seitz (Dianne); brother, David Seitz (Kim); niece, Caroline Seitz; nephew, Bert Seitz (Parker); Andy Seitz, Jamie Black and many, many incredible friends and relatives.
