In Memory Of
Donna R. Hunt
1951 - 2021
She put her faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior at the age of 11 and was baptized the same year. Donna loved attending Blue Ridge Baptist Temple (Kansas City, MO) as a teenager because of the large youth group and many friends she made there. She met her husband Clifford Hunt Jr. in 1971 and they were married two years later. They were planning to go to the mission field until the premature birth of their first child.
Donna has been the beloved wife of Clifford O. Hunt Jr for the past 48 years (June 1, 1973), a wonderful mom to her four sons; Dan (Ginger), Sam (Michelle), James (Melissa), and Tim (Kristen), and amazing Grandma to her 16 grandchildren: Juliana, Carissa, Benjamin, Jackson, Katelyn, Ethan, Adalyn, David, Caleb, Hannah, Jonathan, Micah, Xavier, Genevieve, Isabella, and Malachi.
She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Anne Cubley, mother and father-in-law Clifford and Roxie Hunt, her brother Glenn Cubley, brother-in-law Victor Brynteson, and nephew, Matthew Cubley.
She is also survived by her brothers Lee (Ginny) Cubley, Mark (Jody) Cubley, and sisters-in-law Ladonna Cubley and Charlene Brynteson. She also has many nieces and nephews that she loved deeply.
Donna attended college at Baptist Bible College (Springfield, MO), Calvary Bible College (Kansas City, MO) now Calvary University, and completed graduate school at Baptist Bible College (Clark Summit, PA) now Clarks Summit University. Over the years she served as a church secretary at Fair Haven Baptist Church (Kansas City, KS) and taught at Shawnee Mission Christian School and Mission Oaks Christian School. She later went on to receive NILD (National Institute of Learning Disabilities) certification and worked with students at Kansas City Christian School and served as their program director. She was instrumental in helping Calvary University achieve accreditation. After moving to Ohio in 2008 she began teaching students at Grace Christian School in Blacklick, OH on a part-time basis. Mom also has enjoyed volunteering with pregnancy support centers in Kansas City and in Columbus. Mom loved anyone and everyone, and prayed for everyone she knew to come to saving faith in Jesus Christ!
