Richard Dean Bobo
1961 - 2021

Richard Dean Bobo Jr., age 60, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on November 21st, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Rick grew up in West Jefferson, Ohio. An avid lifelong sports fan and childhood athlete, Rick was also on the 1976 state championship football team for West Jefferson High School. Rick loved fishing, he was a classic rock enthusiast and a devoted Rolling Stones fan. He was also a fierce advocate for fair and loving treatment of pets and animals. Rick was a charismatic “people person”. He seemed happiest working jobs dealing with the public and could make a friend anywhere. Always quick witted, a friendly face and infectious smile. He could hold a conversation with anybody and remember your name. He’ll be sadly missed.

Survived by his wife, Pamela Sue: son Andrew Tyler Bobo: father, Richard D. Bobo Sr.; mother, Barbara Loveland; brother(s), Michael Todd (Katrina) Bobo, Joseph (Staci) Loveland; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by grandparents; Russel E. and Margaret I. McDowell, Levi R. Bobo and Tressie C. Gossard.

Memorial services will be arranged at a later date and posted on his and family members’ facebook pages.
